Basic Skills - Current Activities	Shrewsbury Sixth Form College is currently providing basic skills individual and group sessions at the College in Barker Street, Shrewsbury, delivering on site for businesses and learn-direct (e-learning) courses. We can provide free help with Reading & Writing, Maths, English for speakers of other languages and using a computer.
Basic Skills - Interests	We would be happy to link with other organisations to assist with basic skills training, advice and guidance and share resources.
Employers - Current Activities	Shrewsbury Sixth Form College is currently working with businesses, organisations and the community to provide: * I.C.T. courses range * National Qualifications such as CLAIT Plus and ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) * Business courses Develop Yourself As A Manager, Essential Business Skills, Customer Care, Appraisals, Communication, Presentations, Finance & Budgeting and many more. * NCFE Certificate in Customer Relations and NVQ Level 2 in Customer Services and Care. * Tailor-made courses designed to meet your needs. Means of Delivery: * Tutor led training on-site or at designated Training Centre. * Courses via the internet with on-line tutor support (These courses can be completed anywhere with access to the internet) * Courses with a workbook and CD Rom (access to computer but not the internet) * Distant Learning Courses The College has a partnership with the Priory School Business & Enterprise College who have developed a volunteering certificate linking in with Mencap for their students. The certificate will be launched in September 2004. Community courses are being held at The Priory School in I.C.T., Nutrition Foundation Certificate and back care workshops. The College has a variety of community short courses available at the learning centre which are listed in the ACE magazine available from the College. Many courses are free and fee waivers are available for those in receipt of job seekers allowance, or any means-tested state benefit or any unwaged dependants of these areas as defined by the benefits agency.

Training Provider - Interests	Shrewsbury Sixth Form College has an adult learning centre in Barker Street, Shrewsbury. They have also formed partnerships with The Priory School Business College, Meole Brace School Science College and Sundorne School Learning Centre. All of these facilities can be used for community courses, meetings and activities.
