Basic Skills - Current ActivitiesWork with two groups regularly one from TCAT (pre NVQ) Environmental Studies Course, one day centre (Hartleys - formerly Meole Brace Day Centre) on Gardening Activity & more irregular Arts/Crafts & Countryside Skills
Basic Skills - InterestsThis work is currently not growing - we hope to maintain service to these 2 groups on a more self sufficiency basis. Replacement of community fund resources will help to develop opportunities further.
Employers - Current ActivitiesIn house training in priority areas (mainly SPP or habitat based) for key vols - butterfly recognition, surveying dormice/verges/adders etc. Outdoor training space developed for countryside skills (e.g. hurdle making) for one off/sporadic events.
Employers - InterestsAccess to trainers, 'trade' offs - e.g. list of space for courses would help develop this area.
Training Provider - Current ActivitiesRelatively little done beyond that we have already mentioned.
Community Buildings - Current ActivitiesHire of range of spaces from small meeting room (<15 people) to 2 large rooms for 50+ 'clean' meeting, and more workshop 'dirty' spaces available.
Community Buildings - InterestsCurrent Defra monies supporting development - could always do with more.
